"DRAW! VECTOR! CREATE! You've almost finished the writing for that indie picture book you keep thinking about, get to work on some more illustrations! That guy! Yeah, the one over in Canada now. He wants you to draw some comic book or some shit... do that! Even if it fails miserably, at least you're trying to get your work out there! Pleeeeease... "

I know you're not one to express yourself through art, but the power to be able to create images from your head is an expression in itself! Go on... All this as I sit rotting away before a monitor. Classic example of a willing soul bound to weak flesh I suppose.

As I mentioned to sonictail a while ago, I'm completley cutting anime (and all associated conventions) out of my life. That's just not who I am anymore. Which is a shame really, because just last year I found limitless enjoyment being an obnoxious fangirl, and doing little jobs on the side for animenewsnetwork.com.au was very cool. I'd outgrown anime before I knew it, literally. Everything after around my 21st birthday was done purely out of habit. Conventions, purchases, obsessions... When for the first time in your life you've found your niece, it's hard to accept if and when you eventually grow out of it. Who would have thought Japanese cartoons could play a major role in one's life? ... Dear Christ, I'm a geek.

Meeeeeeeeeh... back to vectoring, I guess...

Holy shit! He actually SAID that? Oh God, what a fucking moron. Yeah man, make an ass of yourself over the internet and you'll be sure to get your point across! -.-;

On the upside, if he's anything like that statement suggests, he'll probably end up being an emotional cripple in later life.

He's planning on joining the teaching/research team at QUT Creative Industries. We can see one of three things happening. 1) All his students will quit. 2) All his students will transfer to a different class (even if it as at 9:30pm on a Thursday night - damn I hate those classes!) 3) The faculty will wonder why all his students except for one or two (if any,) failed the class and then point to the common factor, the teacher.

Yeah, he is a jerk. They cancelled "Australia's Biggest Jerk Awards" because he was winning it too many times consecutively. Randy said I should send the email to the police as a death threat. My father wanted to ring the guy up and give him a piece of his mind. And Alanna wanted a few words with him just from me telling her the whole woeful tale (which is longer than I can put here - I'll tell you sometime later.) Don't worry though - all my other uni friends (including his gf) stood up for me in the end.

The bitch of it is though that he only usually acts this way over the internet - maybe he thinks he can get away with it better, or it's more private or something. Then next time we meet at a mutual uni friend's party, he acts like nothing ever happened.
