Good lord I miss that freak. (Both of them.)

Alive, exhausted, and in possession of an ungodly amount of imported Japanese tea.

Arrived safe and sound in Melbournia yesterday. [livejournal.com profile] kitsunesakurano picked me up and then we met up with [livejournal.com profile] 5hi_tenshi and J-rod for lunch. OMG OREO COCKTAILS FILLED WITH MINT ICE CREAM AND CRUMBLED COOKIE! So much win in a single glass. We hung out at Kit's for the rest of the night, drinking and sodomising. Dani got me this awesome h. Naoto bustle back skirt from her trip to Japan which I absolutely adore, as well as an AP cutsew. The woman has taste.

So right now it's just me driving Kit insane. Looking forward to catching up tomorrow night at din-dins, let's be gay together :D

After discussing things with [livejournal.com profile] baorin_lee  and discovering that weekends = work for everyone, here's the plan for Monday

WHEN: Meet 7:30pm at Flinders St station, possibility of going for refreshments afterwards.
WHY: To join Emperor Hirohito in destroying the worthless Australian pig-dogs. Free drinks for kamikaze pilots.

Attendees:

[your name here?]

So like, I need to unload some of these hugs. Comment if you wanna come :3

Next to catching up with my dearly beloveds (HUGS PLZ!), one of the things I'm most looking forward to about my upcoming southern descent is this- Demeter Fragrances. Sold by in a little shop in Fitzroy with a ridiculous mark-up, these converted me to wearing perfume on a daily basis. They smell just like their description, with names such as Chai Tea, Wet Garden and Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. I used to own the Cotton Candy one but sadly forgot to restock on my last visit :( Unfortunately you can't get it here and you can't exactly sample perfumes digitally until Professor Farnsworth brings us Smell-O-Vision, so I can only obtain this sweet essence once in a blue moon. I'll have to restrain myself from spending half my Centrelink bludger money on expanding my collection.

Anyway. Anyone free to do something on Sunday the 7th Monday the 8th? Byron, I believe you mentioned deliciously overpriced weeaboo sustenence at Isakaya(?)

Dad: You should go and see your friends in Melbourne before you go back to Uni.
Me: Yeah, would be nice.
Dad: So do it already?

And so somehow, I have been bestowed with plane tickets and will be in the land of trams and trannies from Feb 6th-13th. Hopefully will be spending a lot of time harassing [livejournal.com profile] kitsunesakurano and hearing tales of Jarrod's homo-tastic clubbing adventures. Anyone feel like bar hopping?

In the meantime, let's celebrate Australia Day with this video Matt sent me depicting traditional Australian activities.

So Melbourne was essentially a 7 day drinking fest.

The Boxing Day sales were packed with people - mostly yellow - lining up for ages outside places like Gucci and Armani. I was content with a half price cardican from Dangerfield. New Year's Eve itself consisted of a steampunk/neo-Victorian ball out at Carlton. I would have rather been watching X's countdown, but this was the next best thing- plus there were naked chicks and everybody likes that.

Special luffs go out to [livejournal.com profile] baorin_lee and [livejournal.com profile] rockeandroll for robbing me of my sobriety, [livejournal.com profile] kashiichan for making sure we won't be let into Heaven on Judgement Day, [livejournal.com profile] swiftylily for having the most comfortable boobs on Earth, [livejournal.com profile] sefieslj and [livejournal.com profile] rukubites for being generally awesome and also having exceedingly comfy mammories, and everyone who took the time to come out to Knox on Saturday. Also props to Jarrod for putting me up, though given that he has trouble discerning a microwave from a computer I suppose that's irrelevant.

PICS!

French delights! <3

[livejournal.com profile] rockeandroll marks her territory.

The best thing about Melbourne is the large gay community that keeps us safe by patrolling the parks at night.

Sure [livejournal.com profile] sefieslj is hot but is just getting vulgar.

I... wait, what?

HAPPY 2009, NIGGAZ! Only 3 more years 'til the Apocalypse so let's all have a drink.

I just got off a horrifically turbulent plane ride home. The pages of the book I was reading are marred with fingernail marks in testimony to how much I just love and adore flying -_-; (It probably wasn't a good idea to be reading something with the title "Stiff- The Curious Lives of Cadavers".)

I'll have a more detailed report later, but for now let's have a think about 2009.

Resolutions are entirely pointless and feel oh so forced, but I do hope to get more of my writing published this year and on a grander scale. Also, and perhaps more importantly than such trivial things as education, finaces and responsibility, I intened to go to at least one of X-JAPAN's concerts (which hopefully won't be cancelled for the 52869368th time). Hopefully I'll get to either one of the Japanese or American ones (preferably the later due solely to the exchange rate), but it all depends on what coincides with holidays. The footage of the NYE concert is being deleted and re-uploaded to JewTube faster than I can type, but holyyyyyyy shit Toshi's voice sounds so much better than it did in March! It's so clear and he doesn't sound like he has a sore throat for once! Do want <3

And now, as I have Uni tomorrow - happy fuckin' new year >_> - I shall depart. Enjoy your hangovers, mein lieben!
