Ah, the traditional pre-con journal entry.

I sit here, somewhat exhausted, with my hair full of red and peroxide as Nichole works freverently at her Howl cosplay and Pam reads my yaoi collection.

I've been rushing about so much today. I got up at 7:30am, tidied up slightly, and was over at Kit's by 10:30 to work on my cosplay and poke her at random intervals. I then ran back to the city to buy some bleach, batteries and get some cash out. I'm gonna be so broke next week.

But come 2:30, I caught up with Rach and Mike, right off the plane from Sydney! It's been almost a year since I've seen them, so of course I tackle glomped 'em to all hell! XD One year hadn't made the slightest of dints in our friendship though, and soon we were discussing yaoi - much to Mike's disdain - at the Anime Cafe with FF: AC playing in the background.

After that it was back to the hostel to catch up with the TAYT crew. Also ran into David. We went out and got some sake, which Rach made REAL short work of ^^; Dinner consisted of us wandering up to the Ramen place on Bourke St, and we ended up catching up with Nichole halfway. I was expecting to be out of the city by 9, but should've known that by the amount of sake we were ingesting, we'd be in there a bit later. Got back here around midnight and have been busy ever since X_x

Tomorrow will certainly be interesting. The crew will be over around 9am. I wonder how much of the con I'll actually get to see as a committee member? As long as I get to raid the traders' area every now and then, I don't care!
