Why my wardrobe is more barren than a woman from Chernobyl

So Chermside have finally gotten in some nice lace-up boots and Meta are stocking some enticing skirts. However, my wardrobe remains desolate and empty. This is because my mentality goes something like this:

Ooo, a nice pair of boots! ---> For another $50, I could import even better boots ---> For that much money, I may as well save up for a skirt ---> That's almost half of what a JSK would cost, I should wait it out and save up for that instead

Thus I am left with no new clothes as my attempts at saving fail ;_;

Does anyone else suffer from this mentality? I'm finding it very hard to break out of, especially when Dream Dress-sama is still somehow in stock on Baby's website D: (Though judging from yesterday's photos, I should be more careful when combining Lolita and alcohol... bleh.)

aw :P My purchasing is a necessity based thing, but when you wear alllll black, you don't have as many mathcing-based issues as I do (Getting music salon, need pink tights, pink headwear...I have black stuff that matches but that wouldn't be nearly as awesome?...but plain pink otks are impossible to find..T_T)

So: how many pairs of shoes do you have? Boots? IF you don't have any lace up boots, get them :) After all, if you ended up getting a skirt/JSK, you'd still have no boots!

Technically your saving is working since you didn't bu anything? >_>

True dat. One of the main reasons I'm putting off buying anything Lolita until I get Dream-Dress-sama is because even though it's all black, it has an interesting design as opposed to most of the other stuff I have which is more... generic? I dunno. I'm also thinking of finally taking the leap into a world of colour with this (http://www.metamorphose.gr.jp/onlineshop_eng/skirts/130840180059.php?ssid=132e2118109424134222) but I'm not sure >_>

I have heaps of shoes but no booties ._. But... argh, if I saved up the extra $50 the boots I got would be SO MUCH MORE AWESOME and grr... I fail at decision making ;_;

Fair enough. Wow, that would really be you, colour-wise. You wouldn't have any matching issues, it would look really great on you :O It always amuses me how meta have those detachable frill tiers..

No boots, at all!? God woman, how can you liveeeeee. Maybe get the much more awesome boots then~ Could you possibly..get the boots AND the dress, just like.. prioritise which one comes first? Or perhaps the skirt + boots?

I have like 12-15 pairs of shoes and my mum thinks im crazeh D: But only one pair of knee-high boots now since my others broke.. Booots are soo goooddd, esp. in winter, or just for looking badass and gothy.

Ugh. I make purchases here and there but there'll be little things I should buy like pajamas, bits from bodyine and AP dolls BUT no, need for dresses takes over.

Prostitution or a doctor husband may remedy that problem completely. Some of the boots at chermy are prettier than things SS pump out and easy to pick a good fit

I'm kidna the opposite... I get the dress and then spend forever trying to find things to match it^^;; I still have some orphaned pieces that nothing matches...

Maybe you should go for the Chermside boots - if they'll go with lots of outfits, they're worth it. Buy them in time for winter!

I'm not the only one! :D I totally put off buying stuff because "it's only so much more to get thiiiiis"... and then when I finally save up enough, I overspend, then have to sav up again to get out of debt ;~;
