I'm looking at the PayPal website and of course it wants me to hand over the details of my savings account seeing as I don't have a credit card.

Some of you guys use PayPal. Dare I take the risk?

I have my Paypal and bank account linked, and I've never had any trouble. I actually find it an amazingly easy way to do my Paypal / banking.

There's an Australian version of Paypal now so the delay between you telling Paypal to take money out of your account and your bank actually letting them is a lot less than it used to be. I've had my Paypal account for a few years and it's very trustworthy. '-'b

Paypal is FTW. I'm actually annoyed that I can't link it to my bank account here in Japan because it would make it easier to buy stuff online. Guess I need a Japanese VISA card. -.-; Sigh

Also if you're worried about hackings, my Dad has a neat trick. He got himself a secondary account in the same bank, and linked that one to Paypal, and whenever he wants to buy something online he just wires money to his secondary account and uses it like that. Even if someone hacks it then, there isn't any money to steal.
