friezaess | "I wanna have Sex on the Beach..."

Today after a brief bit of shopping at Brookside, Mum and Dad took me out to dinner at ye odle Kedron Wavell Services Club. Had a Toblerone and a Sex on the Beach (I wish to gawd I'd seen Mum order that; apparently she said something like "I don't like saying this, but my daughter said it was okay" XD), and Dad got me the usual beer. Which, as usual, I could baerly drink a few sips of. Cat's urine just ain't my thing.

And, god help me, I had ANOTHER cake. You see, we usually go to Kedron Wavell for birthdays, and it's become a much-talked about fact that they have this awful rendition of "Happy Birthday" blaring out the speakers whenever a cake is brought out for someone's biffy. So the folks decided I couldn't leave for Melbourne without suffering taht humiliation. However, it was my favourite kind- Cookies 'n' Cream! From Baskin Robins ^_^ It wasn't no Buck Cake, but still great!

My plans to catch up with Teresa and Erica have fallen through. *sigh* Too many friends to see induvidually, too few to have a party or something. My social life is really quite amusing- despite being able to get on well with peeps like the Manifestees, I really do suck at socializing. I can be quite shy and am often unable to sustain a conversation. In places like high school and uni I usually just made friends with fellow outcasts, which is why I still hang out with Teresa and Erica. And I really, REALLY suck with big groups of people I don't know, which makes parties fun >_
