Incompetent? ME?

Today was, in the end, shiney.
I had intended to hand out resumes as part of my job search thingy, but stupidly forgot to bring the little Centrelink book I'm supposed to fill out with the details so I continue to recieve my payments =_= So I just headed into the city. Went to Minotaur and picked up a DVD Mel asked for as well as a copy of Tokyo Babylon volume 6. Gah! The second last one! And let me tell you, it's about to get angsty. I HATE YOU, CLAMP!!! *bawls* I'm so fucking pissed off with them for doing that to Subaru just as he's realizing how he feels about his Sei-chan... *sniffles*
Actually I was a tad stupid... I thought I had more time than I thought I did (three hours goes so fast sometimes) so I sat down and read for a while. Then I did a bit of clothes and make-up shopping; before I knew it, I was halfway up Swanston St. with five minutes 'til I was due to meet
eviltom several suburbs away >_< *kicks self repeatedly*
Eventually I caught up with him in Camberwell. That's an interesting little hub; a lot of small shops and some nice resteraunts. We were going to start off with drinks, but the pub has yellow tape with "caution" on it across the entrance O.o After wandering around for a while, checking out resteraunts, JB and EB, we ended up back at the pub. Apparently it was open but we'd been at the wrong entrance earlier. Go figure. So after a drink, we had dinner (chips and wedges; not exactly high class but damn yummy!!), but I think the most amusing part of dinner was the dessert. After even more wandering, Tom-kun took me to this place that gave people salmonella. Uh... they fixed it up though o.o But desease or not, the gelati we were presented with was... well, I think it could've given Mount Everest a run for its money! A big bowl of gelati all different flavours (I think I counted around eight)! We didn't even manage to get through it all. All hail the big-ass gelati.
After that we just sat and snuggled for a while 'til Tom's mum came and dropped me off at Surrey Hills station. Somewhere along the line I managed to lose my freshly bought make-up which had set me back $28. >_< Not the best day for me planning-wise, but I definatly had a great time hanging out with Tom-kun ^_^ Good comapny, good hugs and good gelati... what more could a girl ask for?
