Supanova round-up

I don't know if it was the 2 hours of sleep or if I'm just too old to do 15 hour cons + afterparty anymore, but 6 hours of Supanova left me exhausted. As always it was intensely hot and packed. I grabbed some interviews and got enough coverage to justify my media passes. Matt interpreted the videogame lingo for me and was constantly fussing over my eye-patch and lifting branches out of the way so my pirate hat wouldn't get wrecked. He's such a gentleman, it makes my little black heart melt <3 (Or is that African-American heart?)

Ahaha, first I made a regular eye-patch and just hot glued the rose on. Then an hour into the con, the sun melted it. Further proof that us nerds were not meant to leave the basement. By the end of the day it was being held in place with a hairclip >_> Definitely recommend just sewing the damn thing on if you ever try your hand at it!
