Travel bug and nice warm mug

Oh wow, there's actually a title for this shit. I wish I'd known about that when the whole anti-war movement was it its peak, I could've called out so many tree-hugging hippies.
A little bit of bad news- due to having to shimmy around my Journalism subjects, I am no longer able to take Japanese as an elective which means I won't be able to study over there next year as I had been hoping ._. This makes me sad. However, with any luck I'll land a teaching job there in 2011 which means that I'll actually be earning money and thus be able to satisfy some of my shopping needs, unlike if I had chosen to merley study there. (Can you imagine how far $280 per fortnight would go after the conversion rate?) Plan B is now in place- I'm hoping that this time next year I'll be packing my bags to study in the state of New York. What was that I said about spending money? >_>
In regards to money, I *may* need to get a second job. The conversational English thing I signed up for pays well - $23.85 an hour! - but I have a feeling there won't be many hours as many people have signed up for it and each class only goes for 1-2 hours. Ideally I could go some night work, but not something that goes too late (10pm at the latest). And I refuse to stock shelves again. That was one week I don't care to relive. This is going to be fun.
Mmm, tea soothes my soul and makes me happy. I feel like going back to My Sweetopia where I can satisfy both my tea and macaron fetish. I might even head over there on Friday if I can be arsed. (Anyone care to join me? X3)
Let it be noted in the history books that this post was made before Obama was shot.
