Everyone has a point when, after so much suffering, they reach a certain state of apathy.

When you have a terrible cold that makes you feel as though your soul is being removed through the scratches of your torn up throat, you don't care if people notice you sniffling on the train.

When you've marched through a freezing storm, your clothes clinging to your body and nipples hard enough to cut glass, you don't care that people driving by think your hair resembles that of Marge Simpson.

When you've been walking around in high heels all day and every step feels as though your feet are descending into shards of broken glass, you don't care if people look at you hobbling barefoot through the city.

When you've been angsting in front of your computer for 3 days, you don't care if people see you pop out with 72 hours of unbrushed hair and teeth while wearing an expression similar to that of a meercat before striking.

Or maybe I just have terrificly low standards.

Either way, I can't believe I did a 40 minute round trip at dawn to get a picture of a streetsign in a red light district. Four more hours until this is over and done with.
