In other news, rang around a few places
5hi_tenshi told me of, searching for orange PVC for my hide costume... with limited success. Grr >_< Also got a parcel from Dad containing an Anzac day bagde ^_^ I really wanted to buy one myself, but I didn't have the money!
I don't know what it is with me and war, but whenever it comes to this Anzac day stuff, and anything involving Australian troops really, I get overly emotional. Several times I cried in school when we were having the whole "minute's silence" thing, during movies in which diggers are killed, and when I hear the song "And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda". Now I'm not much for crying. I didn't cry when my beloved dog died, I didn't cry when I left my loved ones in Brisvegas, and I didn't (quite) cry when SOMEONE hit me in the solar plexus. I dunno. Maybe it's because I have a father who's so interested in war- but he's only interested in the German side of things, so that can't be it! I guess I was just raised patriotically or something O.o *shrugs*
