Heheh, I keep saying that ^^;

Today was awsome. Caught up with the Brizzy OzTAKU crew! We started out leafing through manga, and of course the latest issue of the mag, in Hungry Jack's. Met tanta_green for the first time too ^_^ After lunch at the sushi station (and poor Matt's attemt at eating plastic ice-cream), we headed up to the cinemas to see "Team America: World Police". This is without a doubt the funniest movie I have ever seen! Even moreso thank "Kung Pow"! I cried so much due to laughing ^_^ It took the piss out of EVERYTHING. At some points I was doubling over in my seat laughing! I want it on video! Oh, and the Korean guy's engrish was HILLARIOUS.

Afterwards, we watched Mads and Matt go at it on the DDR machine, before heading up to the train station and drawing for a while (two people had to get the train back, and it was the only dry place to sit down on this rainy night). Ended up getting the 11 o'clock bus home.

So yeah. I'm not really in a writing mood, but tonight was just so much fun ^_^

The Christmas party was shit. Seriously.

I didn't know many of the people there, but I figured it would be a good chance to meet new friends. ... They were all geeks. Now considering I'm an anime nut who cosplays and spends long nights on her computer 'til dawn, I figured I was at least a semi-geek, and the other geeks at BAS were at least reliable for a good conversation.

These guys were UBER geeks.

They sat around cracking jokes and saying "ZING!", and the conversations consisted only of computer stuff (which is good until they start trying to impress eachother... like comparing penis sized, and talking to me about stuff they knew I had no idea about), anime, and cries of "I'm getting another drink". I didn't even get tipsy! I had around three drinks and a shot. Nothing. I ended up leaving around two and a half hours after I got there. Ugh.

At least now I know what NOT to do when hosting a party. Rule #1- save in-depth conversations about video cards for IRC e_e
