I dreamt I was seeing you...
Dec. 8th, 2004 11:52 pmIt was weird. This is the only time in my entire life this has happened to me.
Last night, I was able to control my dream without waking up. How often is it one is actually able to control their dream? Whilst I wasn't in full control, I definatly steered the course. I sent myself into the worlds of Tokyo Babylon and GetBackers. I interacted with the characters I've grown so fond of. I visited Seishirou first, before realizing I could influence things, and went to Akabane. The hardest thing was staying awake; though when I was no longer aware of my physical body, I knew I was asleep, and started up where I had left off. It was quite an experience, and something I didn't fully appreciate at the time. Has this happened to anyone else? I once read about some Indians or something being able to control their dreams through meditation and stuff, and often times people realize they're dreaming but usually wake up almost as soon as they do so. I dunno. At any rate, I hope I'm able to do this again... and maybe I'll be able to hold *him* in my arms.
And on a slightly less interesting note, I've officialy signed the forms and quit QANTM! *does a dance* Also caught up with Mel today so she could give me the CD Macius-kun burnt for me; I have Tokyo Babylon and X-Japan stuff!! Including 'Forever Love' at hide's funeral... *sniffles*
Saw Erica yesterday and we took in "The Polar Express" at Southbank cinemas. Yes, that's right- I *chose* to go to a kiddy's Christmas movie. The weirdest thing is, I started getting really fucking emotional in some parts. As in, almost crying. I have no idea why! Maybe I was, once again, mourning the fact that I'm no longer a child. Maybe they were tears of pride, that having done animation, I was somehow related to the people who created the film (it was some of the best CG I've ever seen). Or maybe it's my time of the month. Who knows? Meh. I'll just put it down to stress and forget about it.
