Australasian Training Academy is here to equip you with the skills necessary to teach English overseas. With these valuable skills you can experience travel like you have never experienced before.
Imagine living abroad for 3 months, 6 months or even a year... Imagine making a life travelling abroad. A career skipping from country to country. The experiences you will have will be invaluable.
Just think of the people you will meet, the countryside you will see , the great cities of the world at your finger tips. You can taste exotic foods and watch at the splendour of cultures you have never experienced before.
WARNING!!! Travelling overseas and living an exciting life is addictive...
You don't have to be a teacher with years of experience. You just need to be an open minded person willing to experience new culture and pass on the English language to those who are so eager to learn it.
This is your chance to do something positive with your life. A chance to Travel the world and become an ESL Professional.
====... Yes. Whilst it looks more like a flashy marketing gimmick than a reputable education facility, it also has a money-back guarantee, so if you don't get a job you get the $2000 you paid for your diploma refunded.
A working holiday without having to spend 3 years doing a degree before they'll take you? I have no idea what to make of this. Keeping in mind that my perchant for being cynical is only matched by my gullibility, this is an interesting conundrum.

Good luck. It is a start.

Date: 2007-09-14 06:27 am (UTC)1. As mentioned by rin, pretty much any school or respectable institution will insist you have a degree before they will hire you. The only program here in Japan that doesn't is NOVA, which is all special kinds of scammy death.
2. Make sure you actually want to teach brats English. Thinking 'I can put up with the job as long as it pays for my living abroad!' doesn't work. You will be miserable. Further more, all too often people take work-abroad positions and get trapped - they don't make enough to do any of the things they wanted to (and if you're getting a job without a degree under your belt, don't expect a high salary), nor do they make enough to leave, so they end up treading water and feeling horrid.
3. Working overseas is expensive. Using Japan as an example, to get a work visa, you must prove that you have enough cash in hand to support yourself for at least three months of living in Japan without any further income whatsoever. Meaning you need around $5000 in your bank account just to be allowed to enter the country with the intention to work.
SOUNDS LIKE A SCAAAAAAAAM!
