kitsunesakurano, Dani and I checked out a nice little two bedroom flat at Ringwood. Apparently fifty people have enquired about it, so my chances aren't that good, but apparently I was one of the few well-dressed people there ^^; It smelt like old lady, there was a huge bird crap one one of the windows, and the bathroom had Dani and I in fits of giggles. (Well we ARE crazy- all we need is provocation.) There was a powerpoint that was practically in the shower, the toilet roll was about a mile away from the toilet, and the sink was on something that resembled a table you play cards on.
On the application form I put my occupation down as a part-time artist earning $200 a week (okay, so it's actually more like $180 and it comes from Centrelink. Minor detail!), and added Dani as a reference. T'was amusing.
The MoC meeting was both the longest and scariest one I've ever bared witness to. There were a lot of guys shouting (which scares the hell outta me... methinks it's from overhearing Mum and dad's fights as a kid), and we didn't end up leaving 'til around 7 or something. Pooreviltom got home late 'cos he thought we were gonna be on the train with him >.<
