Douji-con stoof
Aug. 1st, 2006 09:07 pmI have to say I quite enjoyed Douji-con.
I don't know if it was just because I not only won "Iron Artist" (I still need to collect my prize from Avi >.<) but also managed to sell $80 worth of art at my "Porn Drawn on Demand" stall, or if it was just a thoughrly fun and enriching experience.
I say the former.
I saw lots of people coming and going (some just going) as there really wasn't a great deal to do there. It was great for the artists, but two screening rooms (one of which died) and drawing classes were about the only things to keep people occupied. Okay, well obviously the traders area has to count for something, but there really are only so many times you can wander around that place. Bah.
I spent most of my time behind my desk in the mature section, which was mostly deserted. (Signage needs improvement >.>) I got about seven requests through the day, and do you know what five of those were?
DICKGIRLS.
Shows how much people like getting the best of both worlds I guess.
