I'll give YOU empty orchestra...
Aug. 20th, 2005 11:37 pmMan. Something's not right, it's really not. Aside from the bleeding heart rantings of late, I'm feeling absolutley horrible for some reason and I have no clue as to why. All I can think is "I don't want this". Like I said, I don't know why I feel that way. It's just... rotten.
That said, I am now the proud owner of a shiney new X-Japan wristband! Dani was an absolute sweety and bought it for me yesterday. I love it soooooo much. How she ever managed to find something like that in a random Melbourne shop I'll never know, but I'm eternally greatful for it!
We kicked off today bright and early because Dani and I wanted to check out the Queen Vic markets for booze and cosplay gear. I got a lovely coffee liquor to take up to Brisbane with me, but unfortunatly Dani didn't have too much luck in the cosplay dept >.> We had breakfast/lunch there in the form of bratwurst hotdogs with onions and saukraut. I'm sure Dad would be thrilled to hear that >.>
After gelati (and after Sorrell and I had to resist the overwhelming urge to say something to a couple of Chinese women who were handling live chickens in a less than humane manner), we drove up to Melbourne Uni for MoC and had a tour of the venue. Ah, memories! Avi was there too. He's always amusing.
The good news is, Karaoke is now in a much better part of the venue and is going to be on both Friday night and Saturday. The bad news is just when I thought I'd finished with things such as webforms, I may have to do a major overhaul. *headdesk* I'm so exhausted (three hours sleep), but I really want a reply from the list by the end of the night 'cos I promised Hwan-Yi I'd do some Anime Idol stuff, which kind of relies on the outcome of this karaoke debate.
Oh yeah, and I could be moving out come Tuesday. A room came up at Rory's sharehouse at Camberwell, so I'm going over tomorry to check it out. I've bugged poor Kit-chan for long enough ^^;;;
Oh yeah, there was a major backout last night. Power went off around 11 and didn't come back on 'til around 3. Bye bye Internet TT_________TT
