Nrrrrrrrrrrrrr *CRASH!*

Yeah, I should go to bed but I keep having mental images of planes crashing into the ground and all that stuff.

All my life I've never been able to picture myself living very long. The thought of kicking the bucket before I get old, wrinkley and even more jaded is usually appealing to me. Hell, the idea of dying used to seem pretty grand too. Until about a year ago when I realized that as long as you have one person to love who loves you back, life is worth living. So nowadays I'm a bit paranoid about getting hit by a car or something and being taken away from those I love.

And then of course there's the problem of loved ones being spread out across the country ^^; Best friend who forced me to live even when I didn't want to resides in Brisvegas, boyfriend who showed me that love doesn't always have to be the most horrible pain in the world in Melby, and everybody else... damn it, can't we all just meet halfway and move to Dubbo? ^^;

Bah. So maybe I should just go to bed.

Home again, jiggidy jog.

Well, after a rather uneventful and very boring plane ride (thanks for your last comment sora_ishida, it's comforting to hear that from someone in the know!), I am once again back in Brisvegas. For the first time in my existance I was looking foward to some warm weather, only to find it pissing down rain when I got here. Meep ^^;

It's rather nice to be home again. Not that I don't love Melbourne and all my darling friends down there, but home is home, and it's always good to visit for a while ^^ And of course it's catch up time! The first thing I did when I got home was call Mel.

Me: Hello!
Mel: Er... hi...
Me: Has it really been that long?
Mel: OMGWTFBBQ!!! Hello!!! XD

Also arranging to meet up with other peeps. It's hard squeezing everyone in! Tomorrow I'm just having a day at home to rest and such, Wednesday I'm seeing family (blah) and going out to dinner with parents, Thursday Mel-chan and I are going for dinner/karaoke before going back to her place, Friday night will be spent with Adam (possible sleepover), methinks I'll have to squeeze Erica and Teresa and possibly even Naru who I haven't seen in ages in on Saturday, Sunday is Mother's Day, and then back home on Monday. Hm. I might possibly spend the day of Sunday with Mum and then go over to Mel's in the evening. We'll see how we go.

But I got $150 from my folks! anime.au is ON! I also got a yummy Strawberries and Cream birthday cake, which means I've had a birthday cake every day for the past three days. Yeah, I rock ^_~

Now, one of my most favourite things about hopping around different places is bringing people back stuff. Therefore I was exceedingly pissed off at myself for not getting into the City and buying some of the funky booze from the Queen Vic Markets to bring up with me. I did manage to buy my parents a snowglobe each, but meh... a nice Shirraz would've been so much better.

My dogs gave me a big welcome! I love them so much! ^_^ It's weird being here. It'll probably take me a while to get used to it. No doubt it will feel odd sleeping in my old bed again ^^;
