Markety thingies?

YOU DON'T JUST GO PUNCHING SOMEONE IN THE SOLAR PLEXUS! I DON'T CARE IF YOU SAW IT IN AN ANIME- IT FUCKING HURTS!!!
Now that I've vented, today I went to the Carrabian Gardens (complete with undercover markets) with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kitsunesakurano and Dani-chan. After riding on the bus for some time, we decided we couldn't be bothered walking up the looooong driveway to the markets and hopped on a chairlift. Damn I hate those things! It was amusing when we had to get off and Dani and I couldn't undo the chains holding us in ^^;
The markets themselves were actually quite crappy. Not as bad as the Queen Vic ones, but still pretty dodge. And the crowds >_< I hate crowds. (Especially when they're gathered around the Tamarket table at Manifest ^^;)
We had some lunch, which consisted of sugar and grease (I don't think anyone will ever know what the actual contents of that hamburger was...), before going on an exploration adventure! There were some Japanese gardens which were very... um... well they had some cool ponds and looked like a good place for a picnic.
Probably the highlight of the whole day was the trainride! There was this chibi train that went around the place. It was a bit of a que, but when we got to the head of it, we ran for the back carriage and started doing things like singing the llama song very loudly so no-one would want to take the spare seat! We got the kaboose all to ourselves! We were loud the entire way, and somewhere on my laptop I have video footage of us all singing the boganized version of Cruel Angel's Thesis. (I also have a bunch of photos I must upload! Will post a link when they're up!)
After that we went to Box Hill and checked out the karaoke place. The guy couldn't seem to understand taht we wanted to see the Japanese songs they had on offer rather than the english. Stupid retard.
Anyways, that's today in a nutshell. I really am quite exhausted seeing as we were up at 8 and out for most of the day. It was also Mum's birthday today! She went out, and apparently Dad got her something *gasp!*, so that was good news. I gotta go into the city and buy her a present! Not to mention hand out resumes... >_>

NOt only did Dani-chan accidently full-on elbow me in teh eyesocket on the bus, but later on I had the hicups and Kit thought she could cure them by doing what Tomo did in Azumanga Daioh- she punched me right in the solar plexus! I mean Dani's was funny, but this one almost had me in tears!
