Woke up rather late today. Apparently Jaq's grandmother checked on me to make sure I was okay; she's not used to people sleeping in 'til 2 ^^;
Just bumming around right now, a whole bunch of windows featuring various flats for rent minimised onto my taskbar. I have no idea where all these suburbs are, so I'm gonna have to bug Jaq about it ^^;
*cranks up X-Japan songs* Ah, the ever-mournful 'Crucify My Love'. The violin version even more so. *thinks* Actually... do I have ANY songs that AREN'T sad and angsty on my computer?! *thinks* Oh yeah, that's right; L'arc~en~Ciel has some happy tunes. Probably why I don't listen to them as much ^_~ And those bouncy anime songs I haven't listened to in years. *shrugs* Oh yeah! eviltom sent me last night is happy too! "So Happy Together"- go the old 60's tunes ^_^ That song is slightly addictive. Probably not something that'd make it to ye hallowed playlist, but something that makes you wanna sing along with it so badly! ^.^ Speaking of which; gotta find out if there's any karaoke places with Japanese tunes around here. Specifically X-Japan songs ^_^ Yes, I'm still sore about not getting to screech along to some of my favourites back in Brisbane.
Ah, after two days the semi-heatwave has passed. It wasn't exceedingly hot; just enough for it to be annoying and wish I'd brought my fan. *sniffle* I miss my fan heater! I'm buying one as soon as I get a flat, heheh. Unsurprisingly it's quite overcast outside. Aapparently those mountains that make up the Dandenong Ranges at the back of Jaq's house get snow on them in the winter O.o In that case I'm glad I'm not going to be here then! I think winter mornings in Brisbane are hard enough to survive!
