Traditional pre-con entry

Been running around all over town getting my cosplay done. Last night I bleached the crap out of my hair and it burned like never before >.< Methinks this shall have to be my last bleaching job for at least a couple of years ._. Such a shame... I've always used my own hair for costumes, now I gotta start saving for wigs!

Some guy got stabbed at Box Hill today. I'm sure you can picture the scene- a station crowded with cops, news cameras and police cars... and me walking past all of them with my big plastic cosplay sword attached to my bag. I think I got a couple of nasty looks ^^;

I've got the notes written up for my yaoi panel, but have yet to copy/paste them into Powerpoint. Plus I have to finish my costume. Hell. Not to mention get it all done by midnight so I can wake up at 5am tomorrow so we can make it to our 8:30am flight >.<;;;

*sigh* Wish us travelling Manifestees luck as we saunter across the Tasman!

Curiously, you going to be doing any snooping around? A few of us wouldn't mind a report of some sort (wink wink, nudge, nudge) since I'm not available for most of this year. (Besides, I have a class I'm looking forward to; proofreading class!)

For the report which ST wants you to do...

General conception of numbers. If you really have trouble, be nice and ask Sly about it. Yes, I know you don't like him, but he's pretty good at counting. If you see a vendor who's been to other conventions, asking them for their opinion of attendance at the end of the con works as well. (But I'm unsure if there's a vendor available who's good at counting.)

Vendors who turned up.

What events were run, and how long did it run for. Highlights of the convention (usually those events.)

A general opinion of the convention.

It's just a general report. (Which I seem utterly incapable of doing, since I specialise too much. :P)
