Lulz, Zach Levi doing an Aussie accent. (Forgive me if this is old.)
It's weird how well he does it >_>
So today I found out something awesome- I have no exams this semester. This means that I should be able to lift my GPA considerably seeing as those stupid "NAME THE PERSON WHO DEFINED HEGEMONY IN THIS CONTEXT" questions were what fucked me over last year. I'm hoping to lift my GPA from a 5 (credit) to a 6 (distinction) this time around. It looks like we actually get to do a fair bit of practical stuff too which is good (ie., actually writing articles instead of writing about people who write articles). It's kind of sad to see everything go back to normal after the fun and games of O-week, in particular Market Day. I miss my free donuts and Vitamin Water :(
There was a cute guy wearing a NIN shirt in my creative writing class. For those unfamiliar with my method of courtship, it goes something like this:
Me: Hi there, nice shirt/iPod/goon!
Them: Thanks!
Me: :D ... So... do you like band on shirt/music/alcohol?
Them: Yeah, it's pretty good.
Me: Cool. ... *doesn't speak another word and then promptly runs away*
Yeah. Come to think of it this basically sums up most forms of initiating social interaction on my part. No wonder I spend so many weekends on /b/ TT______TT

No exams are great. I got a 4 for film history in first semester; but I had 5+ and 6's in all my assessment and seminars. i.e. I BOMBED THE EXAM. >_> I have one this semester for aus film.. =( same deal.. I did ok last sem though!
Oooh. We have the same method, except I keep the conversation going after that :P Like "hah, that With Teeth song is so hilarious. WITHAAA TEEETHAAA." >_> At this point they (guy or girl) have been tested by my nerdy/cheesy character and if they can stand it they keep talking :)

"Keeping the conversation going", eh? I must research this phenomenon.
