 So today I checked out Shinjuku's Red Light zone.

I was horrified to find not a single vending machine dispensing anything other than drinks and cigarettes.

Not only was this a wasted journey, but I got lost in a web of brothels and love hotels. Not a fun place to spend ages trying to find your way out of, and I was followed AGAIN (only half a block this time thank gawd, though he was asking some interesting things...).

Also checked out Shibuya which didn't strike me as much. I guess if you like high-end department stores it's okay. Um... heaps of karaoke joints (as per usual), kind of hilly... OH! And once again I got lost in the love hotel district, though this time through no fault of my own. It just kind of appeared. My personal favourite shaggin' shack was the bright pink one with a kiddy's playground out the front. Altogether now- LOL JAPAN!

Ugh, dammit Meta. I hate you so much. WHY DID THAT GORGEOUS DRESS HAVE TO FIT ME?! I AM NOW DOWN OVER $350! (It would have been less but I just had to buy the matching head-dress...) That multi-level EGL building is going to be the death of me... it took great restraint to avoid sinking $60 into a hat :(

I've not been game enough to find my way to Harajuku yet...

Is Shibuya a district or a department store? DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT, I'VE NEVER BEEN TO TOKYO. And I'm starting to get all my Japanese words and place names mixed up, which is really lame.
