YAH ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM!
As horrifying a thought as it is, somewhere along the line I figured out how to cook without causing significant long-term damage to anyone's intestinal tract. I figure it's a combination of hanging out with the domestic goddesses of Victoria, Christmas cooking with mother dear, and good old fashioned neccesity. After all, if I don't fry up something I'm stuck with Dad's idea of cuisine which consists solely of remarkably suss sausage rolls from Chinatown.
But I am getting kinda sick of making stuff solely for myself and a father who doesn't care if he gets homemade country cottage loaf with mushroom sauce or a plate of soggy chips drowned in tomato sauce. This is another of those times where I get really pissed off about not having Mum around; she loved trying out new recipies with me, and she'd actually have a reaction other than apathy when we tried new foods.
That said, it's pretty fuckin' sad I'm not actually leaving the house and having a baking day or some shit with people who AREN'T my parents. Wow. I sound like your typical basement-dwelling g33k, don't I? I'm just not that egar to socialise at all anymore. As I've said before, it's not that I don't like the people I hang out with, it just seems to exhaust me nowadays. I'm quite happy being a reclusive hermit who is no doubt going to die alone except for a collection of hundreds upon hundreds of bull terriers who will more than likely fight over who gets to feast upon my decomposing carcass.
I want a hovercraft.
