List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see what they're listening to.
1."Unnamed Song" by Yoshiki and Violet UK (has been on autorepeat constantly >.<)
2. "The Lover After Me" by Savage Garden (feel t3h angst!)
3. "Let's Fighting Love" from South Park
4. "Endless Dream" by X-Japan
5. "Junk Story" by hide
6. "Drain" by X-Japan
7. "Turn! Turn! Turn!" by The Byrds

Hm. It would appear I have two new orifices. Yesterday I clung to a very patient
5hi_tenshi for dear life in a dodgey little chemist. It's been going on ten years since I last had my ears pierced, and I can still vividly remember the screaming -.-; However, this time proved to be much less painful than my ailing memory served. And the little sliver studs will be just about ready to take out in time for AVCon, so joy!
Also, I've managed to get some cosplay materials. I need to create a big-ass wing (with help from a certain Manifest technogeek), and was wondering if anyone knew what I could use instead of feathers. I was thinking of cutting out hundreds of cardboard feathers, but like most of my cosplays, that sounds a smidgen dodgey ^^;

Mini tutorial
1. Draw your wing shape and cut it out of some cardboard. I used a fruit snacks box. Don't forget to cut out a piece to connect them.
2. Cover the wings with duct tape, and attack the connector piece. Make sure it'll look good on your doll of course.
3. This is the trickier part. Cut a small piece of duct tape, then cut it in half. You're left with a little square of duct tape. Fold that in half but leave space at the top. Cut away one of the sides at the top so you're left with a little duct tape rectangle with a sticky flap at the top. That's what you'll use to put it on the wing. Then cut the bottom edge so it looks like a V. Stick that to your wing.
4. Repeat a zillion times until you're done. In the meantime say goodbye to your fingerprints, they are now part of your wings.
5. Get some clear elastic and using duct tape, secure it to the wings. make sure it'll fit your doll of course, but if it doesn't you can always do it over. You can make the straps out of duct tape but this way you won't see the elastic as well. I got my clear elastic at Walmart.
