The thick smell of summer rain always brings back memories and makes us realise that, well, we should probably be acting like good little consumer whores and stocking up on Christmas presents before the shelves in K-Mart a cleared like a Tasmanian old growth forest. I've found it hard to get into a seasonal mood over the past few years, but today I woke up feeling particularly festive for some reason.

Thankfully nothing lasts forever, and my spirit was quickly crushed by a notice from Yellow Cabs saying they'll be in contact when they've figured out their "demands" after they caused $3000+ worth of damage to my car.

Sorta kinda. I have no idea. Two people's insurance companies saying different things about who has and hasn't been dealt with, wtf. Sending them a fax tomorrow. (Seriously, who uses faxes anymore?)
