If you thought the CUSTOMERS were bad (and they are), the staff are the worst... and they're SUPPOSED to suck up to you! But every time I go into BTSSB, AP, meta etc on shopping orders, I get horrible glares from all therein which translate to 'that is not lolita!'. The outrage. The 'gothic' brands like BPN and H.Naoto are just as bad, except that I'm often dressed in black so am at least semi-acceptable in their books. I go to the open-plan any-brand stores where they're not so up themselves XD

Explore Tokyo! The main line (city loop) is the yamanote, which is grass green. It'll take you to all the cool places and is easy to navigate. Any time you get lost, just ask 'eki wa...?' and someone will point you there. Either that or just walk. In Tokyo, you're never more than 10 minutes from a train station.
