maybe you should come LIVE in Australia for a year or two and just see how hard it is to get your paws on some of the rare DVD;s that just happen to be floating around.
lmao Born and bred in Brisbane Australia hun. And it may be rare to come across DVDs for US in Australia but I'd be almost willing to bet a good deal of money on the fact that the DVDs Fri's selling aren't as rare in America as you're suggesting:
Saiyuki Reload volume 1 (http://www.amazon.com/Saiyuki-Reload-1/dp/B0006FFRJS) Animatrix DVD region 1 (http://www.amazon.com/Animatrix-Akio-%C3%94tsuka/dp/B00008LDPU) Nightwalker volume 1 DVD region 1 (http://www.amazon.com/Nightwalker/dp/B0002S65P4) (I'll admit Saiyuki and Nightwalker are getting old and hard to find but hey that's what Ebay America's for - if you had a choice of the same DVD local region or international region when both were available, honestly what would you choose?)
I'm aware that ripping is illegal but I deal with mostly Japanese and Australian DVDs and multi-region DVD players are a pain to find in Japan so I've had to use the ripping technique for a Japanese friend of mine when he BOUGHT a heap of DVDs while he was here in Australia (ones that weren't available in Japan.) Region coding SUCKS! It should either be abolished or DVDs should be available worldwide (which isn't very practical for a variety of languages.) Either that or EVERY DVD player should be region free.
Now the only reason I brought the matter of the DVDs up in the first place was because Fri posted to ebay in US$ - why not AUD considering the DVDs would be rarer here?
What-the-hell-ever! Let me know if an American actually lays claim to the DVDs. It'll only be then that you're proven right so quit wasting your time with me until that time.
