Who needs 'skills' or 'brains' anyway?

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the latest, Manifest is being held from the 22nd-24th of September in its home of Melbourne Uni. The Maniforums are also back online, or at least the bare bones of them. There's an extra bit of stress I didn't need back in my life -.-;

I hate it when I get it into my head that I'm suddenly able to do things I have in the past prooved completley incapable of. (Organising, sewing, walking down stairs...) Last night I decided I was a cooking prodigy.

Now when cooking a farm-fresh head of spinach, most people would say "Alright, I'll get rid of all the excess soil and fertiliser, then carefully pick the leaves off the stems and finley chop and add them to the cheese mix." Unfortunatly, my thoughts went something along the lines of: "It's wet! That must mean it's clean! *grabs a grater and shreds the entire plant, roots, dirt and all into the mixture*" As I was about to put the gritty mix into the oven, the dirt having turned into a sandy makeshift mud, it suddenly occured to me that the very thought of ingesting the crime against God, thus twenty dollars worth or groceries went into the bin. My next thought was that I should have tied the top of the garbage bad. I wonder what cheese smells like after being left in a bin out in the sun for seven days?

I'm seeking to redeem my not-so-momentary lapses of common sense by taking apart my laptop later tonight in a vain attempt to see if I can do something about the loose USB ports. Whilst my experience with computers doesn't exceed spending fifteen hours online per day, there's not really much else that can go wrong with my laptop so if it suddenly explodes in my face, no big loss. (Except maybe my eyebrows. ;_;) I even went out and bought proper phillipshead screwdrivers (heheh, porn...) so I don't have to try and unscrew the thing with a fork! (Again.)

Just take it slow and easy and remember where everything goes. There may be destructions online for the particular model so I advise you to take a look.
